6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Michael Wacha (oblique) has stayed in St. Louis to continue his throwing program, but he has not made enough progress for the team to know when he will be ready for a rehab assignment. Wacha last made a start on June 20 against the Phillies. Oblique injuries can be very tough to come back from for pitchers, and there is no return in sight. In shallow mixed leagues, we wouldn't blame you for ditching him for better, more healthy options.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
