5 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals are moving starting pitcher Michael Wacha to the bullpen for the foreseeable future. He'll be available in relief on Saturday. A pitcher from outside the current roster will join the team on May 29. Wacha just hasn't been any good in his nine starts, going 3-2 with a 5.59 ERA, 1.69 WHIP and 43 strikeouts and 29 walks in 46 2/3 frames. He'll presumably pitch in long relief and won't have any fantasy value. Alex Reyes (finger) is working his way back from a fractured finger and could be an option for the rotation sometime next month if the Cardinals want to go that route.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
