6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Michael Wacha (oblique) took fielding and batting practice on Tuesday and could throw his last bullpen session on Wednesday or Thursday before heading out on a rehab assignment. Wacha has been out since June 20, so he'll surely require a handful of rehab outings before the Cards are comfortable inserting him into the rotation. Wacha should be stashed in all leagues since he had an 8-2 record, 3.20 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 7.6 K/9 in 15 starts for the Red Birds.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
