Michael Taylor Loses Arbitration Case
6 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Michael Taylor lost his salary arbitration case on Friday and will make $3.25 million in 2019 instead of the $3.5 million he requested. Taylor has an intriguing mix of speed and power, but as a reserve outfielder in Washington, he only carries NL-only value to begin the season. Taylor had a career-high 19 home runs in 2017 but fell to six homers last season, although he did swipe a career-high 24 stolen bases in 134 games.
