3 years agoChicago White Sox pitcher Michael Kopech will start Game 2 of the team's doubleheader against the Cleveland Indians on Thursday. This will be his first start since May 14, when he pitched four innings against the Kansas City Royals and allowed one earned run while striking out five. The 25-year-old right-hander has struggled a bit out of the bullpen this month. He's allowed eight hits, two walks and five earned runs over 8.1 innings. He has, however, recorded a whopping 16 strikeouts over those 8.1 innings. Kopech likely won't go too deep into his start on Thursday, but if fantasy managers need a boost in strikeouts, he's someone who could help out today.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
