Michael Fulmer Closes Out Tuesday's Win
3 years agoDetroit Tigers relief pitcher Michael Fulmer closed out the team's 5-3 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday to earn his 11th save of the year. He pitched 1 1/3 innings and allowed two hits, one walk and no runs while striking out one. The Tigers have won four straight games now and Fulmer has earned saves in two of them while Alex Lange and Kyle Funkhouser earned a save a piece in the other two games. Fulmer is the best bet to be the primary saves candidate for the Tigers going forward now that Gregory Soto (finger) is out for the year. Add Fulmer in any league where saves are highly-coveted.
