Michael Brantley Could Be Back In The Next Few Days
3 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Michael Brantley (knee) could be activated from the injured list in the "next couple days," according to Astros manager Dusty Baker. Brantley has been sidelined since September 11 due to a knee injury. Jose Siri and Jake Meyers have been his primary replacements in the lineup over the past few weeks. Brantley has hit .315 over 116 games this year and the strong batting average is supported by a .311 xBA. He also ranks in the 99th percentile in strikeout rate (10.1%). However, he hasn't provided much from a power perspective this year, hitting just eight home runs.
