Mets To Keep Travis d'Arnaud Around
6 years agoThe New York Mets are planning to tender a contract to catcher Travis D'Arnaud, according to a source. d'Arnaud is coming off Tommy John surgery and hit just .200/.250/.400 in 15 at-bats for the team this season. They haven't given up on him just yet, but most fantasy owners probably have after he fails to impress while also consistently dealing with injuries. Tomas Nido and Kevin Plawecki are also on roster, but don't be surprised if the Mets add another catcher to split time with d'Arnaud in 2019.
