6 years agoThe New York Mets have spoken to the Cleveland Indians about trading for starting pitcher Corey Kluber, according to sources. Kluber is a perennial Cy Young candidate and has a history with Mets manager Mickey Callaway when Callaway was the pitching coach in Cleveland. While Kluber will be 33 next April, he managed to go 20-7 with a 2.89 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 9.3 K/9 over 33 starts in 2018. He could be insurance for the Mets at the top of their rotation if they trade Noah Syndergaard this winter.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
