6 years agoThe Arizona Cardinals signed free-agent tight end Maxx Williams to an undisclosed one-year deal on Thursday. A second-round pick in 2015 by the Ravens, he was targeted only 17 times in 2018 and caught 16 passes for 143 yards and a touchdown. Williams played in only four games his sophomore season due to a serious knee injury that required surgery. The 25-year-old played in almost a third of Baltimore's offensive snaps last season and was also a capable blocker. He'll compete with Ricky Seals-Jones, Charles Clay and Darrell Daniels for playing time in Arizona. It's unlikely that Williams becomes fantasy relevant.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
