Max Scherzer Pushed Back To Sunday
6 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Max Scherzer (ankle) will have his next start pushed back from Saturday to Sunday against the Pirates. Scherzer was hit by a line drive in his lower leg in his last outing against the Mets. Anibal Sanchez will take the ball on Saturday. Scherzer is 1-2 to begin the year with a 3.32 ERA, but he has 28 strikeouts and just four walks in 19 innings over his first three starts. He remains an elite fantasy starter and should remain in starting lineups for this Sunday's matchup with Pittsburgh.
