Max Muncy To Start Rehab Assignment
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy (elbow) is scheduled to start a minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City in the next couple of days. Skipper Dave Roberts said Muncy's elbow continues to get stronger. Muncy was able to take batting practice on Wednesday and could rejoin the Dodgers lineup next week, barring any setbacks on his rehab assignment. The 31-year-old slugger has been bothered by an elbow injury that he sustained late last season, and it has affected his numbers at the plate through 41 games. Muncy is slashing an un-Muncy like .150/.327/.263 with three homers and 14 RBI in 41 games. Hopefully he can rekindle some of his offensive firepower when he returns.
