5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy (wrist) left the game early on Wednesday after taking a 94 mph fastball off his right wrist. Muncy struck out twice in three appearances before he hit the showers. Losing Muncy for an extended period of time would be a huge loss for both the Dodgers and fantasy owners, as he's hitting .253/.375/.525 with 33 round-trippers, 89 runs, 87 RBI and four stolen bases on the year in the middle of this potent offense. He'll surely undergo X-rays, and fantasy owners will be waiting patiently for the results. Matt Beaty, Chris Taylor, Jedd Gyorko and Kike Hernandez would be options to replace Muncy in the infield if his injury turns out to be serious.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
