Max Muncy Hits Two Homers Against Giants
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers third baseman Max Muncy went off in the 6-3 win over the division-rival San Francisco Giants on Tuesday night. He went 3-for-4 with two home runs, a double, three RBI and three runs scored to do most of the damage for the Blue. It was a welcomed performance from the 32-year-old, who hadn't homered in 13 previous contests. It's been a rough year for Muncy, as he's slashing .192/.321/.381, but he does have 18 home runs, 54 RBI, 58 runs scored and two stolen bases in 386 at-bats for the Dodgers. He's off to a nice start in September, though, going 6-for-20 (.300) with two homers, three RBI and four runs scored in five games. Both fantasy managers and the Dodgers are hoping he'll continue to heat up to close out September.
