Max Kepler Scratched Wednesday
5 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler (knee) was scratched from the lineup on Wednesday with a sore right knee. Jake Cave got the start in center field as a result and was hitting ninth in the order against White Sox starter Ross Detwiler. Kepler has been a breakout star in 2019, hitting .254/.334/.532 with a career-high 35 homers, 90 runs and 86 RBI in 481 at-bats. Losing him for any amount of time would be devastating for both the Twins and Kepler's fantasy owners. Check back for more details on the severity of his injury. Cave could become interesting in AL-only leagues if Kepler misses any time.
