Matthew Stafford Not Concerned By Trade Rumors
5 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford hasn't given much thought to trade rumors earlier this year and has always prepared as if he'd be the team's quarterback in 2020 and for many years to come. The rumors started with the possibility that the Lions would draft Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa at No. 3 overall. Stafford also put his suburban Detroit home on the market on Thursday for $6.5 million. But the family putting the house on the market has nothing to do with trade rumors surrounding Stafford earlier this year. His back, which cost him the second half of last season, is fully healthy. The veteran QB spent time throwing with Kenny Golladay and Danny Amendola before the coronavirus pandemic. He's gotten in workout sessions recently with rookies D'Andre Swift and Quintez Cephus and tight end Isaac Nauta. If back to full healthy, Stafford could pick up where he left off as a solid QB1 for fantasy owners in 2020.
