Matthew Stafford Medically Cleared
5 years agoDetroit Lions general manager Bob Quinn said that quarterback Matthew Stafford (back) would be able to fully participate if offseason programs were to start next week. Stafford checks in with Quinn weekly and is working out and is a full go. The 32-year-old was having one of the best seasons of his career in 2019 before his back injury, as he finished with 2,499 yards, 19 touchdowns and five interceptions in eight games for the Lions. Stafford had been one of the more durable quarterbacks in the league before last year's injury, so fantasy owners should feel comfortable taking him as a low-end QB1 in 2020 drafts this fall, especially now that he's already back to full health.
