6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Matt Shoemaker (knee) will miss the rest of the season after tests revealed a torn ACL in his left knee. The right-hander was injured during a rundown on Saturday. The 32-year-old will undergo surgery after starting the year 3-0 with a 1.57 ERA in five starts for Toronto. Shoemaker made just seven starts in 2018 with the Angels due to a strained right forearm. Those in redraft leagues can feel free to drop Shoemaker now.
