5 years agoAtlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan (ankle) has been officially ruled out for Week 8 against the Seattle Seahawks. Ryan was able to get in some limited practices this week but will sit out at least one game to heal from his ankle injury. The ancient Matt Schaub will get the start for the Falcons, meaning all Falcons skill position players will take a huge hit. Julio Jones remains a strong starting option, of course, but Calvin Ridley, Devonta Freeman and Austin Hooper should be faded considerably.
