6 years agoOakland Athletics third baseman Matt Chapman is out of the starting lineup on Thursday. Chad Pinder will take his place at the hot corner and will hit fifth against Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez. It's likely just a normal day of rest for Chapman, who has 10 hits (three homers, six RBI) in 33 at-bats (.303) to begin the season. Pinder is a career .278/.348/.467 hitter against left-handers, with 11 of his career 30 homers against them. He makes for a DFS sleeper against E-Rod on Thursday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
