6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Matt Breida (ankle) aggravated his ankle injury in the fourth quarter of the Week 15 overtime win over the Seahawks. Breida was the lead back for most of this game over Jeffery Wilson, which was a good sign for Breida's owners after he sat out in Week 14. He totaled 17 carries for 50 yards and also caught all five of his targets in the passing game for an extra 46 yards. Breida's ankle has caused him issues off and on almost all year, so his status might be in question for Week 16 in a tough matchup with Chicago. If he's forced to miss another game, Wilson would be in play as an RB3/flex as the lead ball carrier.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
