5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that first baseman Matt Beaty (hip) is feeling much better and was available to pinch hit on Tuesday if needed. He's expected to start on Friday in San Francisco against Giants starter Jeff Samardzija. Beaty injured his hip flexor on Sunday but won't be out for long. The 26-year-old has 12 hits in 42 at-bats (.286) as a utility guy for the Blue, but he's still searching for his first major league home run. Unless an injury occurs on the Dodgers infield, Beaty won't have much fantasy value to go around.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
