5 years agoMinnesota Twins utility man Marwin Gonzalez (abdominal) left the game early on Tuesday with an abdominal issue. Gonzalez helped out those that started him before leaving, though, hitting a solo homer in his three plate appearances. The do-it-all utility man is now hitting .263/.323/.420 with 15 home runs, 48 runs and 48 RBI on the season. Gonzalez has come down since showing out with the Astros, but he's still useful in deep mixed and AL-only leagues, mainly for his positional flexibility. It also doesn't hurt that he resides in Minnesota's strong lineup. Consider him day-to-day.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
