Martin Prado Likely To Retire
5 years agoMiami Marlins third baseman Martin Prado has told friends that he will likely retire this offseason. The 36-year-old played in just 104 games in 2019 and managed 94 games in 2017 and 2018 combined due to injuries. He hit a meager .233/.265/.294 with two home runs and 15 RBI for the Fish last season and wasn't even on the fantasy radar in deep mixed and NL-only leagues. In his 14-year career, Prado sports a solid .287 average, 100 home runs, 664 runs scored, 609 RBI and 40 stolen bases in 1,458 games. He was an All-Star back in 2010 with the Braves.
