Martavis Bryant In Line For More Work
6 years agoWith the Oakland Raiders trading wide receiver Amari Cooper to the Cowboys this week, Martavis Bryant should benefit in the passing game as the No. 2 behind Jordy Nelson. He's been a disappointment so far with 14 catches for 220 yards in five games, including a dropped touchdown and a fumble. "I think it helps a player like Martavis Bryant," offensive coordinator Greg Olson said, "because he’s got tremendous skills, tremendous size and speed, and he’s still really kind of learning the system." Bryant is a deep threat, but he's still more of a boom/bust player who will now get more attention from opposing defenses. His fantasy value will see a slight boost, but he's still more of a WR3 in standard-scoring leagues.
