Martavis Bryant Could Be Back By Training Camp
6 years agoOakland Raiders wide receiver Martavis Bryant, who was suspended indefinitely last year, could be reinstated and return to the team by training camp. There is no date on when Bryant can apply for reinstatement, but the players union is expected to lay the groundwork starting in May. The 27-year-old played in only eight games last season and caught 19 passes (27 targets) for 266 yards and no touchdowns. He was also suspended for all of the 2016 season and can't afford anymore off-field issues if he wants to play again in the NFL. Bryant could have a role in the offense as a deep threat in 2019, especially with Amari Cooper now in Dallas, but fantasy owners won't hold their breath.
