Marquise Goodwin Traded To Eagles
5 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles are trading for San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Marquise Goodwin on Saturday. It's unclear what the compensation is for this trade, but obviously wide receiver was a huge concern for the Eagles in 2019, with DeSean Jackson, Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor all missing time with injuries. Philly took Jalen Reagor in the first round and also selected wideout John Hightower in the fifth round, but Goodwin will provide them with excellent speed and another potential deep threat if D-Jax can't stay healthy again. The 29-year-old has played in just 20 games the last two years because of injuries, but he averaged 17.2 yards per catch in both 2017 and 2018 and will give quarterback Carson Wentz another weapon through the air. Goodwin will be fighting for touches alongside the rookie Reagor.
