6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (hamstring, quadriceps) returned to a limited practice on Thursday after missing practice on Wednesday. It puts Goodwin on track to return in Week 5 against the Cardinals, where he could be covered by cornerback Patrick Peterson. Not only is it a bad matchup, but Goodwin has become a risky WR4/flex play with quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (knee) out for the season. The popular breakout candidate in the preseason, Goodwin has only five catches on nine targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in three games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
