6 years agoIndianapolis Colts running back Marlon Mack (hamstring) is practicing on Wednesday for the third time in a row dating back to last week. Mack was inactive in Week 1 against the Bengals but has a better shot to make his season debut this weekend against the Redskins. With Mack out in the season opener, rookie Jordan Wilkins saw 46 snaps for 14 carries and 40 yards. He also caught three passes for 21 yards. Fellow rookie Nyheim Hines saw 37 snaps (five carries for 19 yards, seven catches for 33 yards). Christine Michael saw just three snaps and had only two carries for nine yards. Wilkins and Hines have long-term upside, but this is a backfield that will operate by committee pretty much all year, making it hard to predict for fantasy purposes. Hines may be the safest commodity, but even he will be a shaky flex option in PPR leagues if Mack returns this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
