5 years agoThe Miami Marlins are one of many teams interested in outfielder Avisail Garcia. The free-agent outfield market is thin this year, so Garcia is in a good spot to cash in this winter. Garcia hit a solid .282/.332/.464 with 20 home runs, 61 runs scored, 72 RBI and 10 stolen bases in 125 games in his first and likely only season in Tampa. It was a nice bounce-back season after he hit just .236 in 93 games in his final season for the White Sox in 2018. Garcia can contribute across the board with the bat and typically carries a useful average, but he's also never hit more than 20 home runs in a single season.
