Mark Trumbo Has Been Pleasant Surprise This Spring
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Mark Trumbo's surgically-repaired right knee has held up and he's been one of the team's most pleasant spring surprises. The Orioles are now re-evaluating their plan to have him start the season on the injured list. Trumbo has hit just .200 (2-for-10), but the results aren't as important for him. The slugging outfielder managed to play in just 90 games last year and disappointed by hitting .261 with 17 home runs after clubbing 47 round-trippers two seasons ago. He should be able to help fantasy owners out with his power in a hitter-friendly home park if he's healthy, but those in mixed leagues will probably take a wait-and-see approach.
