5 years agoBaltimore Orioles manager Brandon Hyde said that outfielder Mark Trumbo (knee) will play in the field "soon" in extended spring training games, and he is getting close to a rehab assignment. The 33-year-old has yet to play in 2019, but he can offer decent power numbers in a hitter-friendly environment in deeper leagues when he's healthy. Trumbo is just three years removed from slugging a career-high 47 long balls and driving in 108 runs in his first year in Baltimore.
