Mark Ingram Wants To Stay In New Orleans
6 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram, who is due to become a free agent in the offseason, would like to stay with the team moving forward. “I’m not looking just to up and leave New Orleans. My squad, you know we got a good squad. I feel like we could do this type of thing for many more years. I’m not looking just to bail out of New Orleans," Ingram said. The 29-year-old's 6,007 career rushing yards are second in team history behind Deuce McAllister, and he needs four yards to match McAllister's career total of 6,257 yards, including the playoffs. Ingram went over 1,000 yards in 2016 and 2017 but missed the first four games of 2018 due to a suspension and finished the regular season with 138 carries for 645 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games. Ingram would be more attractive from a fantasy standpoint if he wasn't playing behind Alvin Kamara.
