Marcus Peters Has Been Getting Roasted
6 years agoLos Angeles Rams cornerback Marcus Peters has been getting roasted by opposing wideouts in recent weeks and just allowed Saints receiver Michael Thomas to go for a franchise-record 211 yards and a touchdown in Week 9. Peters suffered a calf injury in September that could be the culprit, but he's downplaying his injury as a reason why he's been so bad. “If I wasn’t totally healthy, coach wouldn’t put me out there,” Peters said. “I had a bad couple weeks and I’ll step up. I know I’m a top … corner in this league and I ain’t been playing like that. Put that on me," Peters said. He hasn't been as good since his injury or the loss of teammate Aqib Talib, going eight straight games without an interception. LA's secondary is a big concern, but it should improve once they get Talib back soon. For now, their defense/special teams is a matchup-based play in fantasy.
