Marcus Maye Suffers Broken Thumb
6 years agoNew York Jets safety Marcus Maye (thumb) suffered a broken right thumb in the Week 6 win over the Colts, according to a source. There is no timetable for his return, but he will miss some games. Maye had a cast on his hand after the game on Sunday. With cornerbacks Trumaine Johnson and Buster Skrine out injured, the Jets allowed quarterback Andrew Luck to throw for 301 yards without receiver T.Y. Hilton and tight end Jack Doyle. The Colts also suffered injuries to Ryan Grant and Marcus Johnson during the game. Gang Green will need Johnson and Skrine back to help slow down the Vikings in Week 7.
