6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Marcell Ozuna (side) will undergo an MRI exam on Thursday in St. Louis. According to manager Mike Shildt, the team is concerned that Ozuna is dealing with an intercostal injury, which would almost surely put him on the injured list. Ozuna has five hits in his 21 at-bats (.238) this year with no homers and a stolen base. The 28-year-old was a disappointment in his first season in St. Louis and battled injuries, so hopefully the MRI exam yields good news on Thursday. Intercostal injuries can be particularly debilitating for power hitters like Ozuna. Jose Martinez and Tyler O'Neill would probably benefit the most from a fantasy standpoint if Ozuna landed on the shelf.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
