Marc-Andre Fleury Registers 61st Career Shutout
5 years agoVegas Golden Knights goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury had a perfect performance Wednesday night against the Oilers, saving all 29 shots in a 3-0 win to record his 61st career shutout. Nick Cousins scored a power-play goal in his Vegas debut, Max Pacioretty tallied the game-winner with his 30th marker of the year and Shea Theodore also scored. Alec Martinez had two assists in the game. The Knights have now won seven games straight, with Fleury being huge for the team during the streak. The Flower has registered two shutouts during the run, and he sits on a personal five-game winning streak. The veteran goalie has had three shutouts in total this month, which have helped him improve his record for the season to 26-15-5. He's carrying a 2.73 goals-against average and a .908 save percentage.
