3 years agoChicago Blackhawks goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury moved another step closer to his 500th career win on Sunday, helping the team to a 3-2 shootout victory over the Islanders. He saved 22 of 24 shots and is now just one win short of joining the 500 win club. Martin Brodeur (691) and Patrick Roy (551) and the only goalies in NHL history to reach the plateau. Fleury's first chance to get there will come on Tuesday against the Rangers. He's produced a 7-9-0 record this season with a 2.82 goals-against average, a .913 save percentage and one shutout.
