Malik Monk Goes Off For 32 Points Versus Heat
4 years agoCharlotte Hornets shooting guard Malik Monk scored a game-high 32 points in just 26 minutes against the Heat in a 110-105 win on Friday. He had five treys and shot 12-for-17 overall from the field with a 3-for-3 success rate at the line. Monk also had a pair of rebounds, one steal and one block. This is the second time he has torched Miami this season after finishing a 129-121 overtime victory on Feb. 1 with 36 points. Monk hasn't done too badly against other teams either as he's averaging 12.5 points per game for the season. He'll be back on the floor on Sunday versus Phoenix. The Suns don't give up a lot of bench points (34.9 per game), but they had trouble containing Monk in the last meeting when he had 29 points in 28 minutes.
