5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies third baseman Maikel Franco is not in the starting lineup on Tuesday. Sean Rodriguez will handle the hot corner and bat eighth against Diamondbacks starting pitcher Jon Duplantier. After a hot start to the season, Franco has hit .127 (8-for-63) with two homers and four RBI in the last 28 days to drop his season average to .209 with nine homers and 32 RBI. S-Rod has eight hits in 32 at-bats (.250) for the Phils this year with only one home run and four RBI.
