4 years agoThe Chicago White Sox activated outfielder Luis Robert (illness) from the injured list on Thursday and placed rookie left-handed pitcher Garrett Crochet (back) on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to April 26) with an upper back strain. Infielder Danny Mendrick was also recalled from the alternate training site. Robert was put on the injured list on Tuesday will flu-like symptoms. Get him back into your starting lineups, as he is hitting a cool .305/.356/.463 with eight doubles, one triple, one homer, six RBI and 10 runs scored in his first 21 games this year. Crochet has posted a 1.00 ERA with an earned run, eight strikeouts and a hold in eight relief outings over nine innings in 2021.
