6 years agoToronto Blue Jays infielder Lourdes Gurriel (hamstring) left the game early with left hamstring tightness on Monday. Gurriel grounded into a double play in his only plate appearance before leaving the game. The younger brother of the Astros' Yuli Gurriel, Lourdes has flashed his potential this year with a .281/.309/.446 slash line and 11 homers and 35 RBI in 64 games. He'll probably continue to be streaky in 2019 as a full-time player, but his upside is obvious. Gurriel's hamstring injury could cut his season short with the regular season finale on Sunday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
