Lou Trivino Continues To Be Out Due To Back Spasms
3 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Lou Trivino (back) hasn't pitched since last Thursday's game against the New York Yankees. Over the past week, he has been dealing with a back issue. On Wednesday, Athletics manager Bob Melvin told reporters that Trivino wasn't available out of the bullpen for Wednesday's game and a few games prior as he had been experiencing back spasms. Trivino has 21 saves on the year and is the team's primary closer. While he's been out, Sergio Romo and Andrew Chafin have both earned saves. It doesn't sound as if Trivino will be out too much longer, though, so fantasy managers don't need to rush to find his replacement at this point.
