Lions Unlikely To Trade Golden Tate
6 years agoThe Detroit Lions have been fielding calls about wide receiver Golden Tate with the trade deadline approaching, but they would only move him if they were blown away by an offer. Tate is 30 years old and will be a free agent next year, but he has 44 catches on 69 targets for 517 yards and three touchdowns, so it'll probably take at least a third-round pick to pry him away. He hasn't gone over 50 yards receiving the last three games, but Tate remains at worst a WR3 for fantasy owners. If he were to be traded, it'd make Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones much more attractive.
