Le'Veon Bell To Get MRI For Shoulder
5 years agoNew York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell (shoulder) will not practice on Thursday and will undergo an MRI exam for his shoulder soreness. Head coach Adam Gase is still hoping that Bell can play on Monday night against the Browns. It's a tough situation with the Jets Week 2 game being on Monday night, and it doesn't help that quarterback Sam Darnold (illness) could now be out multiple weeks. If Bell plays on Monday night, he's in danger of having his snaps limited in what will probably be a much less effective offense overall under backup Trevor Siemian. In the event Bell is inactive, backup Ty Montgomery would have RB2 upside as the lead back. Continue to check Bell's status as we approach the weekend.
