Le'Veon Bell Skipping OTAs
5 years agoNew York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell, cornerback Trumaine Johnson and safety Jamal Adams were all absent at organized team activities on Tuesday. Bell was in attendance at last week's mandatory minicamp, but he's gone missing again during OTAs, as expected. Bell wants to work out on his terms with his trainers as he's done for years prior when with the Steelers. We likely won't see Bell again until training camp next month. The All-Pro running back took last year off but should return to being a bell-cow running back in his first year with Gang Green in 2019. There's a little more risk with the Jets, but Bell's versatility in both the running and passing game should make him one of the safer RB1 picks.
