Le'Veon Bell Gets Good News From MRI
5 years agoNew York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell's (shoulder) MRI exam showed no major damage or tears, according to a source. The Jets are being extra careful with Bell's status after he sat out all of last season. As of now, we'd expect Bell to play on Monday night against the Browns, but with quarterback Sam Darnold (illness) already ruled out, it'll lower Bell's fantasy ceiling. The talented back should remain in all fantasy lineups unless he encounters a setback, but Bell should be looked at as more of a low-end RB1 with Trevor Siemian under center in Week 2.
