Le'Veon Bell Eyeing Colts
6 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell, who is expected to become a free agent on March 13 of next year, "has his eyes on" the Indianapolis Colts, according to a source familiar with Bell's plans. The Jets are expected to make a big push to sign Bell, who is holding out in 2018, but the Colts are at the top of Bell's list with quarterback Andrew Luck and possibly more than $120 million in salary cap space. "He has his eyes on the Colts, no doubt about that," the source said. "He sees Luck and that offense and all that cap room and they're much closer than the Jets. He wants to go someplace he can win right away." The Colts already have Marlon Mack and rookies Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins, though, so they may not be the best fit for Bell. Despite sitting out all year, Bell is a special talent in the NFL and will likely be a top-10 fantasy pick in 2019 if he lands in the right situation.
