Less Optimism That Jordan Reed Plays In Week 2
5 years agoThere is now less optimism that Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed (concussion) will play in Week 2 against the Cowboys, according to a source. What else is new? Reed has been the walking wounded in his career and has yet to play in 2019. He's always been an intriguing fantasy option when on the field, but he's nothing more than a backup fantasy commodity with Case Keenum at quarterback in Washington. If Reed sits out his second straight game, Vernon Davis will once again be the top pass-catching tight end. The veteran hauled in a touchdown in the season opener and would be on the TE2 radar if he starts against Dallas.
