LeSean McCoy Wants To Take Pressure Off Josh Allen
6 years agoBuffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy would like to take pressure off rookie quarterback Josh Allen in his first ever NFL start in Week 2 against the Chargers. McCoy and the running game should continue to be the focal point of the offense with Allen under center. McCoy had over 1,100 yards in 2017 but ran just seven times for 22 yards and caught one pass for minus-one yard in the season-opening loss to the Bills. It's hard to judge McCoy on that performance, though, since Buffalo was down big early and had to largely abandon the run. While Buffalo's poor offensive line won't do McCoy many favors all year, he's still in the low-end RB2 picture heading into Week 2.
